PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
I have been practicing law in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia
since my admission to the Bar in 1977. I have a general practice with my primary focus
in real property, family law and criminal prosecution work. My clients include the
Bank of Nova Scotia, Victory Credit Union, Trans Canada Credit Corporation, Cottage
Country and its related companies, Family and Children's Services of Hants County, as well as many local businesses and institutions.
I have been a per diem Crown Attorney for over 15 years and represent the Crown in Hants,
Kings and Annapolis Counties , Nova Scotia in all criminal and Youth Court matters.
In addition, I am retained by the Town of Windsor to handle all prosecutions of Provincial
Statute offences within the Town and all By-Law enforcement prosecutions. I am as well, the
Federal Agent for matters involving prosecutions under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act,
the Excise Act, the Income Tax Act and the Fisheries Act and all
regulations for Hants County.

COURTS AND TRIBUNALS PRACTICED BEFORE:
I have practiced in all courts in Nova Scotia, including Provincial Court (criminal
prosecution work), Family Court, Nova Scotia Supreme Court Trial Division and
Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. I have also appeared in Small Claims Court and
the Residential Tenancies Board.
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
My interests and hobbies include curling, fishing and community involvement.
I am active in groups such as The Sam Slick Society, The Hants Aquatic
Society and the Windsor & Area Education Fund Association. In the past I
have been involved with Co-Chairing the creation of the Windsor Senior
Citizens Bus Society and Co-Chairing the three year business funding
for the procurement of musical instruments for the Windsor High School Band
Program. I have also been involved with the Windsor Jaycees, the Windsor
Pumpkin Festival, the West Hants Chamber of Commerce, the Windsor B.I.D.C.,
Windsor Cubs, Chair of Stewards for the Windsor United Church and former
Councilor for the Town of Windsor.
