Professional Experience

I have practised law in Nova Scotia since my admission to the Nova Scotia Barristers Society in 1986. I am presently Legal Counsel of the firm and Managing / Owner of the Halifax Offfice. I have focused most of my practise on real estate, corporate and litigation.

I am a former Adjudicator of Small Claims Court and a former Assistant Crown Attorney. I have acted for over 20 thousand clients throughout Atlantic Canada. I am presently legal counsel for several corporate clients, including legal counsel for Annapolis Valley Real Estate Board. I am routinely consulted on legal questions regarding property and conveyance issues.

I am the former Vice President of Atlantic Legal Associates and Fidelity National Financial, a Fortune 500 Company. I am presently President of VIP Client Advantage Plus Inc. which has acquired the exclusive marketing rights for the firm ALG Law Group.

Courts and Tribunals Practiced Before

I have appeared before all courts in the province of Nova Scotia, including the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and Small Claims Court on a variety of matters.
